FrancXs Placide- CPC, PA-C, MMS (they/them, she/her)- Certified Personal Development Coach & Physician Assistant; Founder/Principal Coach at Placide Coaching & Consulting, LLC.
FrancXs (Fran-csss) Placide is a certified professional coach, skilled facilitator, compassionate clinician, spiritual seeker, and mental wellness advocate who is passionate about activating people toward getting unstuck and increasing their capacity to make sustainable personal, professional, and systemic changes that improve their life and the lives of those they lead, serve and care for.
Having traversed through multiple transitions (the eldest daughter of immigrants, a primary care clinician for 24 years, 30-year retired military officer & veteran, public health servant, nonprofit executive, adoptive parent, spouse, LGBTQ+ community member, caregiver to others with mental health challenges, breast cancer champion, and a Black Caribbean Island immigrant woman), FrancXs experientially understands the challenges and joys that a broad spectrum of people face when navigating transitions while striving for mental clarity, emotional stability, and embodied presence. Whether it is moving into, out of, or through changes and transitions in work, relationships, life seasons, social context, roles, community, faith, health & wellness, or leadership status, FrancXs helps her clients build and advance their positive mental fitness skills and leadership energy levels so they can better recognize, re-imagine, activate, and manage factors within their control, toward achieving sustainable impact, joy, peace, and wellness.
FrancXs partners with clients from all walks of life and deeply believes in the power of our humanity to co-create a world that celebrates, uplifts, and unleashes the gifts, creativity, and unifying voices of everyone, and especially those among us who have been historically and currently oppressed, racialized, and otherwise marginalized and “othered” by dominant forces and systems. FrancXs unapologetically invites people who identify as BIPOC, womxn, queer, immigrant, neuroatypical, faith-based, and “other” into partnerships with her through relationships and her coaching, clinical, & consulting practices.
FrancXs is a proud graduate of Boston University (BS in Occupational Therapy), St. Louis University (MS in Physician Assistant Studies), University of North Carolina (Graduate Certificate in Public Health Management), and the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC). She lives near Seattle, WA with her spouse of 19 years, their 17-year-old son, a 7-year-old dog, and a bunch of sassy egg-laying chickens.
